Lime Out VI

No “Circumnavigate St. John” trip would be complete without a lunch stop at Lime Out in Coral Bay, St. John. Lime Out is owned by life-long locals who ensure every aspect of the famous taco spot is eco-friendly. They are super popular for a reason!

Before you go though, there’s a few things you should know:

Location

Lime Out is situated on the Eastern side of the island, so if you book a boat charter in St. John, it’s about a 40 minute boat ride from Cruz Bay. Which is due because of its exposure to the prevailing Easterly winds, sea conditions can sometimes be a bit “sporty” on the ride up.

Our captains will discuss with you on the day of your trip to help decide whether it’s a good day for a “Circumnavigate St. John” trip and a lunch stop at Lime Out.

Crowds

Trust us, it’s more than just a #TacoTuesday kind of thing. Lime Out is incredibly busy through most of the high season (Mid December-early April). Which means, timing your meal is essential to having a great Lime Out experience.

So, here are a few things to consider:

  • Arrive early (really early) if you want to snag one of their signature floats at opening bell. Breakfast tacos, anyone?

  • Preorder ahead of time and get lucky with a float/bar seat or eat aboard your charter boat.

  • “Grab & Go” and we’ll head over to Hurricane Hole for a tranquil taco picnic and dip.

  • “Save it for later” and visit after the midday taco tornado.

Food & Drink

Can’t be beat! Definitely in the top 10 places to eat on St. John. A delicious selection of craft cocktails and fresh tacos. The Short Rib, Chicken Curry, and Tuna tacos are our favorite!

So, don’t miss the chance to experience all that Lime Out has to offer. Book your St. John Boat Charter for an unforgettable day and lunch stop at Lime Out!

But remember… come early or be prepared with other options as it can get very crowded! Happy taco-eating!
